This system tells us when you are ready for a delivery. You never have to check your supply, and you don’t have to be home for deliveries. Metered delivery slips give you proof of the amount delivered.
Easy Pay Plan – Did you know you purchase an average of 80% of your fuel oil during 25% of the year? This means that you must pay for most of your heating needs in a short period of time. Q : What is the minimum delivery?
Q : How do I know how much fuel is currently in my tank?
Use a stick to measure the number of inches in your tank and convert those inches to gallons using the tank conversion chart. Keep in mind that your fuel line is raised a few inches (usually 3″ – 6″) from the bottom of your tank. Contact us for more information.
Q : Is there an added ‘delivery charge’ to bring the oil out?
No, there is not an extra charge to bring the oil.
Q : What are my payment options for a C.O.D. account?
You can pre-pay for a certain gallon amount over the phone with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). You may also leave a credit card on file with customer service to use for your deliveries or you may make your payment directly to the driver.
Q : How energy efficient is it to heat my home with oil?
Very! The average oil heating system consumes less fuel than gas, and oil burners produce the most efficient flame when compared to gas systems. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, oil heating systems are 16% more efficient than gas heating systems and 30% more efficient than electric heating systems.
Q : Will oil heat keep my home warm enough?
Absolutely. The oil heat flame quickly burns at 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the reason oil consumers are much more comfortable in their homes versus those who complain that their electric heat pump does not provide the comfortable warmth of oil during those cold days of winter.
Q : Is heating oil safe?
Unlike gaseous fuels, heating oil will not support a flame unless the temperature is above 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Even at those temperatures, there is not enough fuel vapor to cause an explosion.
